On-Site Services
CBM International Services
CBM International offers many services, starting from onsite belt scanning and assessment, to fully remote systems that can scan cord damage and profile thickness remotely and effectively any time, from any location, all over the world.

Remote Access Services
CBM fabric belt scanning equipment will be fixed onsite, detecting the change in capacitance, and after analysing the data onsite a full inspection will be done by the technician of all damage detected. A report will be send stating the condition of the belt.

Our skilled technicians perform a full scan on the cords of steel cord belts onsite, using CBM equipment which utilises the change in magnetic flux as a signature. A report is then sent after analysing the data, and all past scans will be kept for future reference.

Fabric Belt Scanning
Steel Cord Belt Scanning
Onsite thickness readings are done on all types of belts to give a minimum, maximum and average thickness, plus safe working life prediction for the belt. This is all included in a report that is sent after analysing all the data gathered on specified locations on the belt.

Fabric & Steel Cord Belt Thickness Measurement

This full inspection report is available for all belt types, and covers everything from general belt condition with maintenance recommendations, pulley, scraper and skirt diagnosis and condition, cover thickness & hardness measurement with life calculation, through to a summary job sheet for planned maintenance and immediate actions ranked on a 1 to 5 priority system.

Conveyor Belt Inspection Reporting
CBM remote scanning is performed without interruption to normal belt operation.
The remote equipment is initially installed on the conveyors to be monitored. CBM interfaces directly with these units via available communication options. CBM remote scans are per- formed on a regular basis, dependent upon client needs. The data gathered is then analysed, and compiled into a comprehensive report. This details any changes to the condition of the belting and individual splices, and includes recommendations for immediate action and planned maintenance.
Steel Cord Belt Scanning
CBM technicians will install CBM permanent laser equipment onsite. This laser equipment will communicate with our office using various technologies, depending on the reliability and availability onsite so that profile scans can be set on a regular basis at different locations according to the client's needs. The scans will then be analysed and included in a report that shows all the changes in the profile of the belt, along with a life prediction for the belt.
